Revolution Idle Unity Guide.jpg

Unity is available after Unity reset which is available at 1.08e2.466 EP in Eternity after you are done with Dilation (around 45 DTP).

When you perform Unity reset you will be able to pick one of 4 Zodiacs. On your first Unity you will be guaranteed the option of a Lv3 Rare Revolution Idle Aries.pngAries with 2 buffs: common exponent and mult gain. This is the best Zodiac to pick for your first Unity, after this your Zodiac options and their buffs will be randomized. Pick the one which gives you the most stats/higher rarity. Upon Unity Reset game progress resets and you will have to start from the scratch, but you will have Unity's Bonuses to help you out. Basic bonuses from the first reset are:

  • IP gain: x4
  • EP gain: x2
  • Eternities gain: x2
  • DP gain: x2

On top of that you get your equipped Zodiac's bonuses, that should give you a good boost.

Now you have to go through all game phases again to reach the next Unity and get additional Zodiac. It takes anywhere from 1-2 days to a week or more depending on the strategy, feel free to use previous Revolution Idle Guides to remind you of different strategies for each game stage.

Unity Mechanics[edit source]

There are 3 Main Unity mechanics, the first "Astrology" is located in the first Unity tab. You get an option to pick one of 4 random Zodiacs on the Unity reset based on the Chance. You get all your Zodiacs in the Inventory and in order to get it's bonuses you have to equip it in one of the planet slots. By default, you will have Sun and will unlock Revolution Idle Mercury.pngMercury upon placing your first Zodiac in the Revolution Idle Sun.pngSun slot. Be careful, since assigning or removing a zodiac to a planet will trigger a Unity reset. If you forgot how to play the earlier stages feel free to rely on Ultimate Beginners Guide, Eternity Guide, Zoo and Animals Guide, and the Dilation Guide most things will be the same, just faster and easier.

Unity Walkthrough[edit source]

Unity walkthrough is different from other progression layers, because Zodiacs are random and your early Unity progression might be different. Because of that specific milestones and requirements for other parts of the Unity, like Unity Trials have to be adjusted to each player depending on their progression, Zodiacs, Relics etc. Basics stay the same though and there is overall strategy and direction you can take to progress more effectively and don't get stuck.

You can use this REVO Youtube Playlist to follow all the unity progression, it's split in multiple episodes, so can't embed them in the article.

Here is a Unlimate Unity Video guide that will allow you to grasp the Unity mechanics:

Early Unities take a while and heavily dependent on the Zodiac RNG, it's ok that they make take days and weeks, later on things will get faster. It's essential to pick the right Zodiac upon Unity Reset, and early on you want to balance between 2 strategies:

  1. Getting Red Zodiacs (preferably Revolution Idle Aries.pngAries with Mult Gain stat) to progress Easy Unity Trials faster
  2. Getting Red/Light Blue Zodiacs for faster Unity runs.

Since early Unities take a long time it makes sense to do a reroll of the available Unity Zodiacs, it might give you a better option, but it costs Souls and you won't be able to revert it, so use it only if your option are really bad. Note that the value of rerolling will go down as you progress thru unity and the Unity's become faster.

Good Red Zodiac stats to aim for in the early game:

  • Mult Gain
  • Slowdown Power

Once you will get 3 Red Zodiacs you can attempt your first Easy Trials, start with Easy Trials #2 as that one is the easiest, most of the times it can be completed with a single Revolution Idle Aries.pngAries that you get at the start, but it's better to get more red Zodiacs to make it faster. Refer to Unity Trials Guide for more detailed info.

Completing your first Trial will unlock Moon and you will be able to slot more Zodiacs for additional multipliers and progress faster.

You will also unlock EXP factor that increases Unity Reset Zodiac Level, which gives it more stats. Those exp factors are multiplicative, so they boost each other a lot.

After you beat Easy Trials 2 and 1 you can attempt other trials, if you fail just keep farming Unities. Unity bonuses will allow you to go through Unity faster even if you get bad Zodiacs. After a unity run rearrange your zodiacs and give a try to a trial, rinse and repeat until you beat Easy Trials.

Once you beat all Easy trials you get access to several Factors that will allow you to go for higher level zodiacs. Keep in mind that exp factors are based on current values, so Max Score is Max Score this unity. Also, Prestige and Promotes will reset nothing at this point even at the new unity. Use this to your advantage and put proper Automation options and boost your progression and farming speed. You should have around 7-13 Unities by now that will allow you to push further.

You will also unlock #Planet Shop where you can sell zodiacs you don't want. It doesn't have a lot of effect on the progression early on, but might worth checking out, especially as you start getting too many useless Zodiacs.

Now your goal is to prepare for Medium Trials. Try to get Zodiacs with + Lab Level bonuses and ^^ SN Req to beat the medium trials, you can always try to beat the trials, if it's too slow and not working - come back and farm a bit more. At this point Unities will take way less time and their bonuses will start stacking up, helping you to progress faster.

Once you beat all the Medium trials it's time to get ready for Hard Trials. Get ready by farming DP Gain Zodiacs and refer to the Hard Trials Guide for more info on specific trials. Getting trials 1,2,3 will be relatively easy, you should be able to do them all without too much issues if you get proper Zodiacs. Trials 4,5,6 are way more complex and will require specific approach and preparations.

Trial 3 is important milestone that allows you to fully automate Unities using Macros. It might feel complicated at first, but with the help of Marco Guide you should be able to master most important macros for your progression.

Also completing 15 Trials unlocks #Attacks - the new progression layer which will be extremely important in your late game progression.

To deal with Trials 4+ you will need progression with Planet Shop, Attacks/Relics and Achievements 200, 201. They will all drastically improve your farming speed, multipliers and make you stronger.

Once you beat hard trials, you will need to focus on Attacks and getting Achievements 230-233. Your final goal will be pushing to Achievement 240 and unlocking Minerals.

Planet Shop[edit source]

Planet shop is unlocked at finishing Easy Trials and being used for selling and merging Zodiacs, and spending Astrodust from sold zodiacs for various upgrades.

The proper upgrade priority is:

  1. Zodiac Exp. Factor - will allow you to get higher lvl zodiacs, essential in the early game
  2. Quality - make new zodiacs stronger, but bonuses aren't that significant early on
  3. Luck - Early upgrades won't give you much, so it's useful mostly in late game
  4. Game Speed - Nice place to spend extra Astrodust, but bonuses aren't that crazy early on and getting better zodiacs is more important

Other than that, you can Merge, Enhance, Redistribute and Sacrifice Zodiacs:

  • Merging combines 3 zodiacs of the same element to get a higher rarity one. Getting similar Zodiacs will result in the same sign on the merge.
  • Enhancing boosts zodiac's quality at a specific chance. I found it pretty useless, because the bonuses are slim and don't worth it.
  • Redistribution - rerolls zodiac. Might be useful to change zodiac to another one in the same element.
  • Sacrifice - the most useful mechanic that adds passive stat bonuses based on the 1st zodiac stat bonus. Has diminishing returns, but very powerful.

Attacks[edit source]

Attacks is a whole new level of gameplay and progression that is unlocked upon finishing 15 Trials. You will fill attack circles based on your color speed. Damage is calculated differently in the attacks: it uses base damage that you can see at the top of the screen which is based on your Score and multipliers and it's being multiplied by specific color Damage Multiplier.

Currently there are 5 colors available in the attacks, each one will have separate multipliers, speed etc. You can upgrade and ascend them just like normal colors, but it costs Gold.

Gold is a special currency that is being awarded upon infinity based on the Attacks progression. You can spend it either on the Color Upgrades or on Relics.

You can refer to Attacks Guide for more information.

Relics[edit source]

Relics are progression layer located in the Unity tab, it provides multiple relics that unlocks as you progress max Attack lvl and boost various gameplay aspects.

It's better to focus on the relics that are useful for the current goals, like pushing the attacks, getting better zodiacs or farming more gold.

When all the relics are unlocked it's advised to start upgrades on Relic #14 Palate Expander, since it decreases costs of all relics. It's also better to wait until you reach high attack level in the current Unity (close to max) before buying the relics, since it will be cheaper.

You will need to beat specific Attacks milestones to unlock new relics. Usually unlocked relics are pretty expensive and it will require a bit more of progress to actually buy them.

Keep in mind that relic upgrades have diminishing returns, so first levels of relics will provide more stat boosts than higher levels. It doesn't matter for most cases, since you will buy all available relics anyway, but it's nice to keep it in mind.

Minerals[edit source]

Minerals tab offers LOADS of new mechanics to the game, it's own progression layer, unique prestige mechanics and variety of resources and multipliers.

The main idea is that you spawn minerals using Gold and those minerals generate Value Points (VP) that can be used to buy variety of upgrades. Early on those upgrades affec mostly minerals themselves, but Luck and Quality bonuses directly boost Zodiacs spawn quality. Gold Gain helps a lot with Relics and Common Exponent Mult... well, it's there.

Also based on your max Value Points you will get multipliers to Attacks M.Gain and Asc. Power making them A LOT stronger. This in turn allows you to push attacks that will generate more gold, meaning better relics, meaning better progression.

Minerals have Polish Prestige, that resets current minerals and VP, but keeps your purchased upgrades in the Minerals tab. You get Polish Prestige (PP ^^) that you can spend to Polish 5 types of weapons that provide multipliers and unlock bonuses and trials upon specific milestones.

Next prestige layer in Minerals in Refine. When you do Refine Prestige you lose all Minerals progress (other than Special Minerals and milestones for Polished Weapons) and get Refine Points for that. Refine Points (RfP) can be used to buy refine nodes on the refine tree (sort of skill tree with a very long progression). You can also spend them for Polishing Enchance, that makes your Weapons a bit more effective, Rune Upgrades and Special Minerals upgrades (makes your Special Minerals a bit better).

Refine Tree unlocks many game mechanics that will be necessary later on, such as:

  • Merge Level (node 5)
  • Magnets (node 18)
  • Polishing Enchance (node 28)
  • Runes and Runes Upgrades(node 35)
  • Special Minerals (node 41)
  • Special Minerals Progression (node 46)
  • Elements (node 55)
  • Tarot (node 70)

You can refer to Minerals Guide for more information.

Runes[edit source]

Runes are sepearate enitity in Refine Tree. You get Runes avery specific amount of time and can spend them for Rune Upgrades or Spawning Special Minerals. At first they generate very slowly and there aren't many ways to increase rune generation speed. You can spend RfP to lower the generation time and get them faster, spend runes to get more runes per cycle or boost local game speed to speed process up.

Runes timers run during the offline time warps, so it's possible to get them by using that, but overall there is no easy way to speed up the process.

Special Minerals[edit source]

Special minerals reside in their separate minerals tab. They are spawned using the Runes and provide variety of awesome bonuses for gameplay. Spawning Special Mineral raises the price which will eventually go down to Base Cost through Cost Fall. Main issue with Special Minerals is that Base Cost gets more and more expensive as your SM Spawned Factor increases. Basically more runes you have spawned - more expensive it will be to spawn new ones.

Runes can be merged, but unlike normal runes it doesn't provide any stat bonuses, only saves space in the Special Runes grid.

They can be autospawned later, and automation options for Runes autospawn can be set so their autospawn will work only when cost reached Base Cost. It seems to be the best option, since Runes generation is the common bottleneck in Rune farming.

Special Runes Progresson increases Base Special Mineral Spawn level when you spawn sufficient amount of Special Minerals of the same type. You can also improve Special Minerals efficiency using RfP here.

Elements[edit source]

Elements tab contains 4 elements which are generated over time, affected by the Local Game Speed.

You can select only one of the elements to generate, it's impossible to generate all 4 (at least early on). Each Element will require special Zodiac Build to farm them effectively. You can find all the Builds on Elements Zodiac Build Page.

Element generation is based on Global Element Mult (that you can see at the bottom of the screen) multiplied at Power Factor 1 for Element (node 1 of Every Element Tree) and multiplier from specific Stat that Element is based on.

Early on the gains will be very low and won't provide any significant bonuses, but it's important to check your gains from time to time and push them to higher values.

In the Element Tree you can spend Elements to get various bonuses. Most of the bonuses scale with their Current Element Value, so there is a point to grind elements even if you can't afford a new tree node. Just keep in mind that node bonuses scaling might be a bit disappointing early on.

Small tip: When you are farming Minerals or anything else with your Game Speed build full of Pisces make sure to set Water element, even though the gains might feel tiny, it will be more efficient than any other element.
