Revolution Idle Attacks Guide

From Game Vault

Attacks is another gameplay layer in Revolution Idle that is separate from Revolutions. It has its own tab and unlocked upon completing any 15 Unity Trials. This guide will help players to understand attacks mechanics, learn optimal progression path and figure out which relics to focus on when spending Gold.

This Guide is a part of Revolution Idle Guides series, where you can find more guides for other game aspects.

Attacks are somewhat similar to Revolution, but in Attacks each revolution will do damage and it requires specific amount of damage to go to the next attacks level. Each next level gets progressively harder and require more damage to finish.

Damage is calculated based on the current Score from Revolutions and then multiplied by 5 multipliers from Attacks, additional multiplier and powered by exponent, all of which will be unlocked later in the game.

You can upgrade and Ascent your Attacks just like Revolutions. They have following stats:

  • Speed - how long it takes to do 1 attack
  • Mult Gain - Multiplier added to the corresponding color at the top for each attack
  • Damage Mult - Multiplier to the damage done by this Attack upon its revolution
  • Asc. Power - Multiplier to Mult. Gain and Damage Mult on Ascension

Progressing Attacks rewards player with Gold on Unity Prestige. It's important to notice that switching Zodiacs doesn't trigger that effect and your Attacks count and progress stays. You can use it to your advantage by switching Zodiac builds to push further or faster.

Gold can be spent on Attacks Upgrades or Relics early on, and there will be other options to spend gold later in the game as well.

Relics[edit source]

Revolution Idle has 35 relics that can be purchased with Gold, in order to unlock a new relic player needs to reach specific max Attack lvl. Relics can be upgraded to the next level with gold with diminishing returns and exponential price increase. Most of the Relic bonuses affect Attacks, Gold Gain and Zodiacs Quality and Luck, although other multipliers are there as well.

Early on you can buy any relic you want, in most cases it will depend on the available gold and all the relics will be leveled up to the max every Unity reset.

Later on there are some specific tips that will help to level relics faster:

  • Upgrade Relics only when you reach max Attacks (it will lower their Gold Price)
  • First Relic should be #014 Palate Expander since it Decreases cost of all relics
  • Depending on the goals focus on the relics that will help with the current push/goal. For example get #021 Queen of Spades, #017 Magical Magnet, #009 Midas Hand if you are farming Gold or #015 Comfortable Telescope, #002 Pinewood Bracelet and #004 Four Leaf Clover if you are going for Zodiac farm or grind.
  • Because of diminishing returns lower lvl relics usually give better bonuses per lvl or per gold spent. This is even more important for newly unlocked relics
  • Relics price and levels don't scale at the same pace, some relics will get higher level faster than others
