Revolution Idle Automation Guide
Automation will help you to be more efficient in Revolution Idle and keep earning resources while you are afk. There are multiple settings in the automation screen that will affect how it will work and can drastically speed up or slow down your progression.
It's part of Revolution Idle Guides series, where you can find the rest of the guides on the game.
You might want to visit Revolution Idle Ultimate Beginners Guide to learn more about game mechanics outside of automatization.
You will unlock your first automation features AutoBuy and AutoAscend at 1;1 and 2;2 Infinity Upgrades, those unlocks will allow you to Automatically buy Circle Levels and Automatically Ascend them when they reach max level. In the very early game you might want to turn off Auto Ascend for the red circle, so you can do it manually on the right time to keep the high laps/s.
Next Automation unlock is Autoprestige, and it's unlocked at 5;3. It will help a lot with actually reaching proper automation, early on you can set it to the following settings:
- Min P.Exponent Gain (+):0
- Min P.Mult Gain (x):1,000
- Min time (s): 0.20
It should work for the most players and farming IP, but you might want to turn it off or adjust for specific stages of the game and early on.
At 10;1 you will unlock Auto Promotions and that will finally allow you to get fully AFK Infinity Points farm. You can set it to:
- Promotion 2; +50 Lv. 1s
- Promotion 1; +50 Lv. 1s
- Promotion 3; +50 Lv. 1s
- Promotion 4; +50 Lv. 1s
Later on you can lower the levels required to trigger to +20 or so and you can add or remove Promotion 3 and 4 when needed. Usually for the shorter runs you want to run only Promotion 2 and 1. Test and adjust settings for maximum IP/min
With those settings you can go all the way to Infinity Break.
Afterwards you will unlock Autoinfinity at 15;1 that will allow you to set infinity automations.
Infinity Break Automations[edit source]
For Infinity Break stage of the game you can use following presets for automation as a starting point for your runs. You might want to customize them to your needs, but for the most scenarios they should be just great.
IP Farming (Short Runs)[edit source]
Infinity Points farming with the short runs is more of a early game strategy, until you will reach 1.8e3080 Score.
Auto Ascension: All
Auto Buyables: All on 100%
Auto Prestige:
- Min P.Exponent Gain (+):0
- Min P.Mult Gain (x):1,000
- Min time (s): 0.20
Auto Promote:
- Promotion 2; +50 Lv. 1s
- Promotion 1; +50 Lv. 1s
- Promotion 3; +50 Lv. 1s
- Promotion 4; +50 Lv. 1s
You might want to add or remove Promotions 3 and 4 to test if it will be more IP gain than without them.
Auto Infinity:
Find a spot where your Ip stops growing after completing all the upgrades. Set 90% of that value as your min IP.
IP Farming and Pushing (long runs)[edit source]
General setup of automations for highest IP farm for long runs and pushing. Auto Ascension: All
Auto Buyables: All on 100%
Auto Prestige:
- Min P.Exponent Gain (+):0
- Min P.Mult Gain (x):1,000
- Min time (s): 0.20
Auto Promote:
- Promotion 2; +30 Lv. 1s
- Promotion 1; +30 Lv. 1s
- Promotion 3: +30 Lv. 1s
- Promotion 4: +30 Lv. 1s
You can adjust the levels and times as you please. The further the run, the lower the level you want, and you will likely want to increase the timer
Auto Infinity: off
Finish the run when you will gain enough Infinity Points to claim a new Infinity Upgrade (s) or important generator purchase.
Infinity Challenge Automations[edit source]
For overall Challenge completion, visit the Revolution Idle Challenges Guide.
To get lower challenge times and improve overall challenge completion time use the following automations:
Auto Ascension: All
Auto Buyables: All on 100%
Auto Prestige: Off. After you will get through all challenges without Auto Prestige, do another run with those settings
- Min P.Exponent Gain (+):0
- Min P.Mult Gain (x):1e10 or 1e21 depending on your multipliers and current game stage
- Min time (s): 0.0
Auto Promote: Off
Auto Infinity: Fix infinity or set it to 1.0 with lowest cooldown possible.
That should allow to improve Challenge times, especially when you are aiming for below 1 second times for the challenge.
