Revolution Idle Dilation Tree Guide.jpg

Once you finish all the Eternity Challenges in Revolution Idle you will unlock Dilation Tree and it can be hard to get your first Dilation Tree Point and tree itself might look confusing. This guide will help you to progress the Dilation tree easier and faster.

This guide is part of Revolution Idle Guides series, where you can find the rest of the guides on the game.

Your First Dilation Tree Points[edit source]

Getting to your first Dilation Tree Point might be a slow process and it's described in the detail in the Dilation Tree Guide. Basically, what you want to do is to use Time Flux in 10 minute bursts, cycle various game modes to push Supernovas and Dilation Upgrades high enough to be able to get ~ 1e23 DP/s. That will allow you to get your first Dilation Tree Point in about 1-2 Hours.

Once you get it, invest into the Center-1 and make sure to buy all the Animal Points you can to boost your DP/s Income. You will need ~1e29 DP/s to get the second Dilation Tree Point in 1-2 hours, but most likely you will be able to get it faster.

This video covers Dilation Tree basics and path towards your first Dilation Tree Point (DTP):

Once you get 2 DTP invest the second point into the Middle-1. That will increase DP/s Even more. Get some Dilation Upgrades, cycle the upgrades, all the usual stuff. If you still can't get third point make sure your Lab settings are right (1 Gen Power Exponent : 5 Common Exponent ratio) and maybe farm some Eternities by turning on AutoEternity in the Automations Menu.

At 3 DTP you will need to do a Respec. Do not be afraid of losing Dilation Upgrades, you will get WAY more afterwards. GET C-1, T-1, T-2. This will greatly boost your Dilation Points Income, and you will be able to get more points in no time. Things will skyrocket.

You will instantly get 4th DTP, select Max buy in Dilation Upgrades, work on them, get 5th DTP, invest them in T-2 Get Some more Dilation Upgrades and Reset.

Now you will have to cycle Dilation Tree Builds to gain optimal progress. Each build will focus on specific aspect of the game: DP farm, AP farm, Eternities Farm, or Supernovas. You can use presets later in order to save the Loadouts you like, but for now it won't be useful, just go manual.

This is the path I took, it's not most effective, but it will get you a lot of DPT fast:

  1. Supernovas: Go C1, T1, T2 and put other 2 points in T-3. This will easily push your Supernova from 48 to 83. Don't forget to collect the Animal Points and reset.
  2. Dilation Points: Go C1, M1, T1, 2xT2. That will give you additional DTP and now you have 6. Reset
  3. Supernovas: Go C1, T1, T2, 3xT3. This will push your Supernova to 97. Don't forget to collect the Animal Points and reset.
  4. Dilation Points: C1, B1, B2, B3, M1 will give you 2 more DTP and now you have 8. Get T1, T2. This will instantly give you 2 more DTP and now you have 10. You can put it towards B3 or T2 for most DP gain. I decided to experiment and went for additional B3, M2, M3 to farm some Eternities and AP. Reset at 2mill eternities, don't forget to buy Animal Points beforehand. You will also get 1 more DTP here and will have 11 DTP Total.
  5. Supernovas: C1, T1, T2, 5xT3, 2xB1, B2. This will push Supernovas to 106
  6. Animal Points: C1, 5xB1, 5xB2. I farmed until 32k AP and reset. There is no specific milestone, just go until it's slow.
  7. Dilation Points: 2xC1, T1, 2xT2, 2xM1, B1, B2, 2xB3. This is not the most efficient build, but I was testing things and in order to follow the guide and don't break the order I had to put it. I managed to get another DTP here, totalling 12 DTP. I've put it in B3. It yielded me another DTP, so now we have 13 DTP.
  8. Now when we have 13 DTP we go for achievement 140, that will give us a great boost. Just put 1 point in each node and you will get an achievement. Now TOP-4, MID-4 and BOT-4 are 30% Stronger.
  9. Eternities: C1, M1, 5xM2, M3, 5xM4. This will skyrocket our Eternities gain, stay here for a while and enjoy. I waited until I've got 2e9 Eternities and got an Achievement. Can use Time Flux to get more.
  10. Supernovas: C1, T1, T2, 5xT3, B1, B2, B3, 2xB4. This will heavily focus on Supernovas and will be a base of Supernova Build. It allowed us to push Supernova to 112.
  11. Dilation Point: C1, T1, T2, T3, T4, M1, B1, B2, 5xB3. I found this to be best Dilation Build for now. It gave us 1 more DTP, totalling 14, which was put into T4.

From here it's not so strict, feel free to farm Eternities, they will provide a significant boost, switching between Animal Points, Supernovas and Dilation Points DTP builds.

You should be able to reach 16 DTP Pretty comfortably, but then things slow down again.

DTP 16+[edit source]

DTP 16 is a first major wall in Dilation Tree. Make sure Need to get achievement 140, 1 point in all nodes. Farm eternities c1 m1515 till 20b Farm Ap c1 m1155 b1200 Farm dp c4 m1155 Farm sn c1 t1150 b1114 till sn120

Use 4xC1, M1, M2, 5xM3, 5xM4 to push through the wall.

Now when you are at 40 DTP you will need to cycle the Dilation Tree Builds. Most of the time you will be farming AP, as it is the main driving force for further progression.

DTP 40+[edit source]

Here is where things start getting really slow. DTP 40+1 will take longer and longer to get, so this is some sort of current content wall.

Keep cycling the the Dilation Tree Builds. Most of the time you will be farming AP, as it is the main driving force for further progression.

Some recommended AP and Eternity milestones for Each DTP point after 40:

  • 41 DTP - 365k AP (~1e11 Σ)
  • 42 DTP - 385k AP (~3e11 Σ)
  • 43 DTP - 400k AP
  • 44 DTP - 421k AP (~1.05e12 Σ)
  • 45 DTP - 443k AP (~1.36e12 Σ)
  • 46 DTP - 467k AP (~1.8e12 Σ)
  • 47 DTP - 494K AP (~2.91e12 Σ)
