Introducing Revenue Sharing for Game Vault Wiki Founders and Admins
At Game Vault, we strongly believe that those who actively contribute to wikis — managing them, keeping them updated, and enriching the community — deserve a fair share of the revenue their efforts generate. As part of our monetization integration roadmap, we are excited to introduce the first phase of our Revenue Sharing Program for Wiki Vault Founders and Vault Masters.
How It Works[edit source]
If you manage and actively contribute to a wiki, you can earn a share of its revenue. This initiative rewards those who dedicate their time and effort to building and maintaining high-quality game wikis. Currently, the program is limited and open to:
Vault Founders: Those who have created or are looking to create a new game wiki on Game Vault or have provided over 80% of the content for an existing Game Vault wiki. Users who match the criteria can apply for the role for the existing wiki.
Vault Masters: Contributors who have provided over 50% of the content for an existing Game Vault wiki.
Approved wikis will have a 50/50 ad revenue share from any future earnings for that wiki. Revenue share will be distributed among all approved active contributors to that wiki, with the share being divided proportionally based on their level of contribution.
Please note that this program is currently in a testing phase and may be subject to change based on performance, feedback, and platform adjustments. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the program at any time.
Content Quality Expectations[edit source]
To maintain high standards across Game Vault wikis, all content must meet the following criteria:
Originality: Contributions must be unique and not copied from other sources.
Accuracy: Information should be well-researched and factually correct.
Formatting & Readability: Content should be well-structured, formatted properly, and free of excessive grammatical errors.
Regular Updates: Wikis should be maintained and updated over time to remain relevant.
No AI Spam: Low-effort, AI-generated, or mass-produced content that does not add value will not be considered for revenue sharing.
How to Apply[edit source]
Joining the Revenue Sharing Program is simple:
1. Join the Game Vault Discord: Connect with us on Game Vault Discord.
2. Submit a Request: Fill out a Wiki Request form to propose a new wiki, explaining why it deserves revenue sharing. For existing wikis, message Kosh with details about your contributions and why you should be considered.
Applications will be handpicked by the Game Vault team based on content quality, contribution level, and commitment to maintaining the wiki. Selected applicants will receive a DM with further details.
Payment Details[edit source]
Payments are made monthly via PayPal.
A minimum threshold of $100 is required before a payout is issued. The threshold helps minimize transaction fees.
