Icon Skill Tier Notes
EM Spike.png EM Spike S+ With EM Pursuit being unlocked at lvl 6 it can clear the entire battlefield fast. Perfect for early game.
Fuel Bomb.png Fuel Bomb S Once unlocked it can easily clear most melee enemies that gets close to the Fort. If you can get several of its casts during the run it will also weaken and destroy enemies on the battlefield.
Drone Assault.png Drone Assault S Amazing for clearing enemy swarms. Great damage and upgrades, lvl 6 will get it slow and you can get 2s Stun during the Stage
Cyclone Cannon.png Cyclone Cannon S Great AOE skill that also pulls enemies around and groups them together for other skills. Duration upgrades are nice addition that makes its uptime longer.
Armored Vehicle.png Armored Vehicle A Good against ground units swarm. It slows down the enemies and provides decent damage as well. Can be upgraded for additional stun or longer slow effect.
Frost Generator.png Frost Generator B Great AOE Stun skill, especially against enemies that cannot be paralyzed. Range upgrade, freeze duration and additional casts will allow you to freeze the entire screen, just remember that Damage output isn't that great.
Thermo Bomb.png Thermo Bomb B As a separate skill its not that great, but it gives explosive ammo for the Gun, so it's pretty much essential for gun build. As a standalone skill it can be pretty good with upgraded range and explosion damage, but it needs Super Bomb (which unlocks at lvl14) to work well.
Energy Beam.png Energy Beam C Really good for early levels when other skills are locked, but falls off afterwards. It has decent damage, but the problem is that it's in the straight line and not really effective when Fort is already swarmed. It's not really effective unless heavily invested with Gems and upgrades and there are better more reliable alternatives out there.
Dry Ice Bomb.png Dry Ice Bomb D Its low penetration and lack of AOE makes it pretty weak. It can be a good Croud Control skill if properly upgraded with freeze effect and have multiple casts, but you are not guaranteed to get these upgrades and there are better options like Frost Generator anyway.
Guided Laser.png Guided Laser D By default it's pretty weak because of low damage and high cooldown. With Tracking Refraction it gets some decent AOE capabilities and can be upgraded with explosion or EM spike on hit, but those upgrades are RNG and without them it's just weak. It can be good when player is strong enough and facing even or weaker enemies, but it barely works against stronger enemies.
Electron Transition.png Electron Transition D Looks fantastic, have some stun, but useless against swarms because of low initial targets amount. It can be upgraded with explosion effect for more AOE, extra casts and more damage, but it loses to other skills if compared directly.
Aerial Bomb.png Aerial Bomb D Its low range and slow attack rate makes it a bad choice for newer players. With proper upgrades it can be useful, and it has advantage of range covering an entire map, but it's not enough.
Air Blade.png Air Blade D Low penetration makes it impossible to use against swarms unless heavily upgraded. Overall damage is subpar. When enemies are already attacking the Fort its aiming is off and might hit 1 enemy or miss completely. Pretty unreliable and have way better options that work well straight from the box.

Boss Skills Tier List[edit source]

Bang Bang Survivor Skills Tier List for Guild Boss and Final Crisis Boss.

Fuel Bomb.png Fuel Bomb S+ Fuel Bomb is an absolute beast and lifesaver. Its high DPS and small AOE will allow you to take mobs faster, allowing you to level up and get additional skill upgrades. If you can get +1 cast, it will get even better and skyrocket your damage to the stars. Upgrade priority should be + Cast, Range, Burn Damage, Ignite Damage. The only drawback - flying units cannot be killed with it.
Drone Assault.png Drone Assault S Drone Assault can do very good damage to the enemies and can hit air units as well. Upgrading its Range, Dual Blades on skill duration end, Burn (if you get Thermo Bomb), and damage should be your priorities. Avoid Stun, since it will actually lower your DPS, because it will take longer for enemies to reach your Fort. Main drawback, it fly around the battlefield without hitting too many enemies, but when it gets right angle - you're good.
Cyclone Cannon.png Cyclone Cannon S Cyclone Cannon is a pretty decent source of DPS as well, but the problem is, it doesn't stay where you want it to, so the damage is being spread among multiple enemies as they march towards your Fort. On the bright side it can clump enemies together and pull them closer to the middle of the screen/boss in order to be hit by other skills, that helps a lot. Upgrade priority is Range, Damage, Traction.
Armored Vehicle.png Armored Vehicle A Armored Vehicle is another reliable damage source because of its AOE capabilities, but it will always target the boss (unless additional Casts are bought) and that will not target that many enemies. Moreover, its slowdown effect will do more harm than good by preventing enemies from getting next to the Fort fast enough. Adding Burning damage, additional casts and damage should be the priority, but don't expect it to do insane damage.
Thermo Bomb.png Thermo Bomb A Thermo bomb have some AOE damage by itself and can pull pretty good numbers in the Boss fight, but it needs Range upgrade and several damage and burn upgrades for that. It can also provide other skills with burn effect and gun with explosive ammo, which is always nice. Extra Casts, Range, Burn and Damage are good upgrades.
EM Spike.png EM Spike B EM Spike can't perform as good on boss stage as in normal levels unless properly upgraded, thats why it's so low on the list. In order for it to be effective it needs additional casts, then it can hit normal mobs as well as the boss. If you go EM route get explosion, range, EM slowdown area and its damage, as well as EM Spike damage to make it ultimate weapon of destruction. The problem is you might be out of luck and end up with a single EM Spike doing very low damage.
Frost Generator.png Frost Generator B Overall I wouldn't recommend Frost Generator for the Boss fights, but if other options are worse - it will do. It still have some AOE capabilities, so focusing on range, damage and additional casts should be the way to go.
Energy Beam.png Energy Beam C Main issue of the energy beam that it's extremely hard to make it decent AOE damage outside of the main beam. And in the Boss mode it will always focus on the boss and won't hit too many enemies. Most of the time I try to avoid it altogether, but if you will get lucky and get those split beams with extra damage on the enemies it might work.
Aerial Bomb.png Aerial Bomb C Aerial Bomb just doesn't pack enough punch to do enough sustained DPS to score high during the boss fights. Even with the upgrades it's better to go for higher ranked skills, since they will perform better out of the box. If you still want to try Aerial Bomb get Range, Multiple Casts and Damage.
Dry Ice Bomb.png Dry Ice Bomb D Dry Ice Bomb is a single target skill with low penetration, so it won't be able to compete with other options even if upgraded properly. Avoid at all costs.
Guided Laser.png Guided Laser D Since most of the damage in the Boss Fight comes from attacking the normal mobs, Guided Laser will just focus on the Boss and will not do that much DPS as other skills.
Electron Transition.png Electron Transition D Electron Transition is a single target skill with low bounce amount, so it won't be able to compete with other options even if upgraded properly. Avoid at all costs.
Air Blade.png Air Blade D Air Blade is a single target skill with low penetration, so it won't be able to compete with other options even if upgraded properly. Avoid at all costs.
